Exercise enthusiasts can help raise money for schools by participating in the Making the Grade for Education walk/run Sept. 16 at the El Dorado Hills Golf Course.
The 10K and 5K trail run/walk will be professionally timed by Capital Road Race Management. There also will be two fun runs for kids 12 years old and younger.
Proceeds will benefit the Buckeye Education Foundation, a private nonprofit that provides supplemental funding to the schools within the Buckeye Union School District in El Dorado County.
Participants can register at www.makingthegraderun.org. For more information, go towww.buckeyefoundation.org.

As head instructor of EDH Jiu Jitsu, I challenge all of our grapplers to enter and promote this great event to help raise money for our local schools. A community that supports, promotes, and advocates for a fully funded educational program not only in the maths and sciences but also in the arts, languages, and sports will always be stronger tomorrow.
El Dorado Hills Brazilian Jiu Jjitsu will be making a sign up sheet and going to this event as a group! Who wants to join us??
