Want to start Jiu Jitsu? Try our FUNDAMENTALS CLASS

Jerel, Eliot, and Steve
El Dorado Hills Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has designed a very special class for all beginners. If you have been wanting to try jiu jitsu but have resisted it for a fear of injury, age or skill, you don't have an excuse any more! We have designed a class that will introduce Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to you in a safe and controlled environment. The following is a simple description of what to expect from your beginner's friendly FUNDAMENTALS JIU-JITSU CLASS.
Our Fundamentals Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Class in El Dorado Hills is unlike any other Martial Arts classes in the area. Our classes start with a series of dynamic exercises and stretches to warm up the muscles and joints. These exercises are designed not only to warm the body up but also build a skill set of movements you will be able to apply in your jiu jitsu training. By activating the core and getting your body warmed up, we are able to minimize the risk of injury. Following the warm up, instruction begins with in the form of review. After reviewing the material from the previous class and drilling the movements with a partner, new material is introduced, building upon what has already been taught. In doing so, students are able to make better sense of how to combine techniques and focus on not only on move, but a sequence of movements. We like to call this CHAIN-DRILLING.
Kids class: 2012
After students work on their chain drilling, short bursts of controlled sparring takes place. During this time, the students are expected to focus only on the technique covered in class. By increasing resistance and not straying from the technical position that was just covered, students are able to test the technique and see if they were able to master it in the short time of drilling. If they did, GREAT! If not, we need to go back to our drilling and make sure we are practicing the technique exactly how it was designed. Immediately after our controlled sparring, we go into a warm-down. This is very similar to the warm up, but this time we are focused on lowing our hear rate, stretching out any tight areas while keeping the body in motion. It's an essential phase to get the lactic acid out, speed up recovery time and have the body prepped for the following session.
You are guaranteed to notice a difference in your cardiovascular and muscular strength within 30 days. For more information see the information below:
