IBJJ Pro League on LIVE for FREE!

      The IBJJ Pro League is upon us. The final event of the 2012 jiu jitsu calendar takes place this Saturday, December 8th, at the California State University Pyramid, in Long Beach.
     The Pro League will gather 32 of the best Jiu-Jitsu players of our days to compete for $24,000 in prizes. The champion of each of the four categories will receive $5,000 and the runner up of each division takes home $1,000.
      The event is schedule to kick off 3:00PM (PT) this Saturday and if you can’t go down to the notorious Pyramid of Long Beach you can still experience all the thrills. For the first time ever, a free live streaming will be available.
Log on to IBJJFTV.com and watch it all as if you were on the bleachers.

2011 Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championships

      Every March is a very exciting time for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The Pan Jiu-Jitsu Competition held in Southern California is one of the biggest, most premiere events Jiu-Jitsu has to offer. If it was up to me, this would be an annual even to compete in or go down to watch. The enthusiastic crowd, the exciting Jiu-Jitsu, and warm Southern California weather are all great draws to make the event a must see!
      One great option, if you are unable to go to the Championships is to watch it online. A website called Budovideos offers a FREE viewing of the preliminary matches on Saturday and a $10 charge to watch the finals on Sunday. (It's much cheaper to watch it online then it is to purchase an entry ticket!) Here is the link to the online streaming:
