Congratulations to all the competitors from the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) San Francisco Open Championships. On Sunday February 24th at the Kezar Pavilion, one of the biggest northern California jiujitsu tournament took place. This is one of the few tournaments along with the US OPEN, American Cup, and All Star Tournament hosted in the Santa Cruz and San Jose area. From El Dorado Hills, Jerel, Rich, Jordan, Garrett, and Marshall took the mats. Every single competitor finished with a spot on the podium and represented themselves, their teammates, and family with class and honor. All of the competitors represented the greater Sacramento team, Yemaso BJJ in an effort to earn team points. The result, was a second place team title! Congratulations to all the competitors and those who helped their teammates prepare for the tournament! There is nothing more noble than helping those around you to find success on and off the mat! It takes the work of many people supporting a common goal of excellence on and off the mat! Great job everyone!
Congratulations to all the competitors from the greater sacramento area. There were many different schools represented in all divisions, showing that Sacramento Jiujitsu alive and thriving! We look forward to representing the area in future competitions, seminars, and events!
