A Bullying project led by students at El Dorado Hills JiuJitsu

There are many online resources parents, educators, and even students can access to help learn more about bullying. This article talk about a new documentary website to elevate the awareness towards bullying.

Since many different students are online, it makes sense to have resources online for those who might need help, educators to incorporate into their lessons, and parents to share with their children. Visit the site for yourself, harmlessdocumentary.com

At El Dorado Hills Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu we will be making a short film about bullying this summer. This film will be written, filmed, cast, and edited by students at El Dorado Hills Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. A project based film that we hope will empower our students at EDH BJJ and the surrounding community of El Dorado Hills, Folsom, and Cameron Park.

New bullying awareness site is interactive

A new documentary website to raise awareness of bullying is up and running, the brainchild of three graduate journalism students at Sheridan College.
Multi-media journalists Chelsea Gomez, Sandra Mergulhão and Paris Adams created the interactive, fact-filled – and often poignant – production called Harmless as part of their new media journalism course requirements.
"We tried to cover all sides of bullying, including involving the bullies themselves," said Gomez, noting that many current resource sites are not as focused on the stories of people involved – victims, witnesses and bullies as well.
The site uses infographics, narrative text and documentary footage to inform and involve people looking for more information to try to deal with bullying.
