A Champion from Warrior's Quest

El Dorado Hills Brazilian Jiu Jitsu had three competitors participate in the Warrior's Quest Tournament at Natomas High School. Angelo, Pierre, and Beau all showed up with an attitude of a champion, and fought with honor. Beau took the show away as he dominated to the top of the podium winning 4 straight fights to win his No-Gi weight division. He really focused on his mental and physical preparation for the tournament and the results speak for themselves. Pierre had a great tournament as well, fighting his way up to the 3rd place match. He lost a close one finishing in 4th place, but he has come back into training with a new spark in his eye, wanting to learn from the mistakes he made in competition while further developing his technical game. Angelo represented EDHBJJ in the kids division and had a great match battling out against a very experienced grappler. At one point it even seemed as though he was going to come back from behind to finish the match with a triangle choke. He did an incredible job fighting through difficult positions.
