I ran across some stats in a recently published article and according to some studies they found that a child is bullied every 7 minutes, and that 3 million children in the United States miss school every month for fear of some bully. This should tell us that there is a serious need for us as a community to talk about bullying in our schools, at home, and among our organized sport teams.
At El Dorado Hills Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, we will be studying a series of "NO BULLY ZONE" messages during the months of August and September. These messages will be shared not only with our kids Jiu-Jitsu classes, but also our adult jiu-jitsu classes.
